We don’t need a women’s day
We need a better world.

The expression in her face sums a lot of feeling many of us feel .
No we are not always oppressed,
Some of us are extremely privileged,
But that doesn’t mean everyone is.
I dont want to share numbers about what crime and what injusticetakes place everyday,not only in our country,but in every corner of the world,
The wall of patriarchy though seems to diminish has not vanished yet, and the worst part is there is still a long way to go.

And then comes 8th march,
Women’s day,
Which is something which literally highlights the discrimination.
For me every day is a day of humanity,
Doesn’t matter men or women,
Its high time to pull up your socks and get ready to brush that ego of yours off your shoulders.
Coz we all need a better place to live in.

Happy humanity,
Happy women’s day to every gender who knows that being kind is the best thing one can do.
