While i was painting her i had to go to and fro so many times to actually understand what story i wanted to say in a frame and what vibe she was giving!
And i love this process.
When i just take time, and make my painting talk to me and tell me
What and how they want to be painted.
She actually looks a lot like my late grandma( when she was younger).
I imagine her waking up in a hot summer afternoon with the hat pakha in her hand.
Still not accustomed with reality.
Still fighting her way through the deep after noon nap to understand whether what she was seeing till now was a dream or partially it was happening.
She staring at us with those sleepy eyes and that little smirk makes me feel she dreamt something really lovely.. happy and spicy!
She knows she would fall back to sleep just to go back to her dream.
And we are not allowed to be a part of it!😜
