As a woman sometimes I feel so many of our life choices are placed in a certain order almost involuntarily by life and society and at leant once in life, we face the ancestors the feminine in a court of judgements in our own minds.
Can be tough, critical, heartbreaking, but more than mending, what I feel I achieved in the process is a deep understanding of what being a human is, what being a woman is, and how much the DNA speaks until we take control.
Coming from very headstrong, passionate and stubborn women, many things make so much sense about who I am, and why I am.
I have many more paintings to share about the journey, but this one came out sometime back, which i feel speaks my heart. How the mother looks at her mother and the child at her mother and the grandmother at the grand daughter with kindness and pride.
There are some pieces. That is just a piece of who I am.
