A scene taking shape in front of me, where the little girl runs to her mother and buries her face deep in the folds of the fabric she wears and feels that now she is home.
A place where she thought she could hide, take rest and get back to deal with existence.
Some long for this, some experience this, and some misses this.
But it definitely is a comforting thing to think of.
To know, that for some, there is a place , the softest drapes to completely immerse oneself and feel protected.
The awareness of a place called home.
I made this before the pujas when people are buying their own clothes, and how so many mother and daughter cherish the shopping spree!!
My heart randomly asked me to put all these little fragments of imagination together and create this piece.
