I’ll have to use a lot of energy to actually explain.. why and how this is so close to my heart.
The first reason being that i am a bengali and we have grown up seeing everything Satyajit Ray created.
Now coming to my emotional side.
The name.. the calligraphy( this isn’t the same calligraphy as i wanted to do it in my way) , madhabi herself, the time it was created when the world was not actually keen on telling women oriented stories.. their perspectives.
I’ll talk about the music in one word – masterpiece. (This piece was when she recalls her childhood and hence the splashes of bright@poppy colours)
The name charulata is like music to my ears. Rather every old school bengali names are.
And last but not the least i wish to write a letter to every character i am choosing. And instead of words.. i am using colours.
You must be thinking why am i saying so much.. this is me just being overly emotional because.. every character i am choosing for this series, actually means allot to me.
Also everything i am sharing from my culture and background.. if you have not seen these movies and people… please.. do it!!
