Technically this marks the end of the grand festival, durga pujo,
Today we say good bye to maa dugga, and she goes back to her home.
But emotionally its just the beginning of another pujo,
Waiting for it.
Shouting and celebrating,
Asche bochor abar hobe.
In this cycle of this festival,
Ending-waitings-almost here-best time arrives-ending-waiting.. so it goes on.. Today all the women celebrate and bid goodbye to maa dugga by giving her sweets and playing with vermilion.
The little girl, watching it today, will be a part of it tomorrow.
Lets not end the celebration of humanity, power, womanhood today.
Not as a goddess, but getting accepted as human beings not a weaker sex
Women(and everyone who identifies themselves as woman or recognises womanhood in them)in all stages of life, deserves to live, and love themselves.
The vermilion can represented as their rights.
Which should not be taken away or given to them by some relationship status.
They deserve to cherish is all along.
Like everyone else does.
Shidur khela is for everyone.
Let everyone immerese in the joy of bidding goodbye to our most beloved maa dugga.
With asche bochor abar hobe.
Wishing you all Shubho bijoya from the core of our hearts.
