Mother’s Companion

We have always tried to make our mothers, our friends after a certain age,and they have also tried in some cases(just to know whether you are okay or not)
We daughters dream of a unique friendship with our mothers.
Some let us be,some are strict and hide behind the veil of a strict guardian,
But i have learnt one thing.
Our mothers are human beings with feelings,desires,mistakes and definitely have their own version of the story.
They are human beings,im saying this again and again because often we keep them in a place of goddesses or in a place where she gets into the pressure of being perfect.. not only as a human being,but as a woman,a mother, a wife and every possible way.
And that perfection means perfect for the society.
Tear that veil..
Instead of expecting her to listen to your break up stories all the times and guide you,sometimes talk about her own stories,her dreams,her failures and her battles.
Tell her she does not need to burry the little girl in her,whom she has been constantly trying to kill and shut up.
Her stories,her emotions can make you look at life in a completely different way.
