Do we remember the last time we danced like a kid, inhibition free?
Do we remember the last time we stopped being the child ?
Most of us don’t, I don’t,
I chose to post this work today as reminder of childhood.
As a reminder of the muralist we were.
The free soul we were,
And then maturity killed all the whimsical fun.
We were eager to learn, curious to know, and never thought twice before questioning,
So when did we stop it?
When did we decide we no more need teachers?
It’s sad coz there is no time for learning, hence we move towards a more stubborn self.
A man sits and tries to imagine the blurred image of a little boy. Fails, but tries.
If we could hold on to those little interesting quirks of being a child, our imagination would be so vivid.
Our childhood etches marks on our soul like those crayons on the walls,
Just like the happy sunny days we drew,we also etch monsters in our minds for ever.
The bully or the people pleaser, all starts from there.
Our night mares, our dreams, fears, love, desire, passion and also our expressions are just a reflection.
How critical and tough it is to raise a child right.
Respect to all who did and does it right.
