I paint a lot of people who is resting, relaxing and having a good time.. but in real life I don’t remember when I rested or relaxed.
I don’t remember when my mind was at rest, doing nothing, thinking nothing.
I don’t remember when i was thinking one one thing at a time.
Never was a moment when my mind was not infested with overwhelming thoughts.
It’s only while kissing and making art did i find peace. A strange calm.
May be i channelise my wish to rest through my paintings. Resting in the forms and ornamentations of my creations.
P.s. i went with the flow to paint her. But I honestly admit the whole painting reminded me of a yummy ice cream! 😍😍
