Do i really need to say much about this?
Do i really need to explain?
I am sure the people here are sensible enough to understand what it feels to be restricted all the time.
Don’ts have always been a part of a person’s life.
I paint it from my perspective.

I am a woman.
Not a goddess.
I don’t want to be.
I don’t need your protection,i just need you to be sensible enough.

Things fade away very easily.
How old is the nirbhaya case?
How much do we talk about it?news fades away,and we forget.
We wait for another incident to raise our voice in social media.

Few days ago we were reading and watching debates about the case. “Girls are like jewels,you take care of them,you don’t throw them away in the streets,if you do so – dogs will take that away!” – this was actually said by the defence lawyer in the nirbhaya case.
And we still sit there,numb,dumb and silent as dead bodies.

And we say feminism is overrated?
Only those who don’t know the meaning of the word will say so.

We are often get tagged and imposed with various instructions,so that we stay “safe”. I laugh at those instructions,i laugh at the society who is still and will continue to think this way.
I laugh at people who is taking away other’s freedom.
I laugh at people who won’t understand how sarcastic and painful i feel,when i laugh at them.
