Remembering the simplicity of my mother dancing to the beats of dhak with multiple dhunuchi in her hands, wearing the a soft cotton saree, with the simplest patterns and prints.
I have cherished the pictures of those moments and also remembering my sister do the same and go totally crazy with the dhunuchi dance.
I created this with the most simplistic approach to keep what i felt intact, yet which had a great impact on me.
And definitely while waiting for the best days in a Bengali’s year, what could be a better memory to share, or a woman to paint!
