Someone recently asked me why is it crucial to tell the stories about women and to celebrate women,
I love such questions because this kind of questions make me think.
I would like to speak for myself, why i tell stories of women? There is a whole part of history where their version was silenced and ornamented in order to pamper the ego of patriarchy. As virginia wolf said, for most of history, anonymous was a woman, we don’t want that anymore. The best way not letting history repeat is speak and tell their version of stories. Good or bad, acknowledging the existence, And hence this is the main reason why i feel stories that celebrate women should be told to that extent where it just becomes a norm.
