My Woman 24

This ink drawing,reminds me of the models we had in our art college days.
There was a woman who was regular in our class,
She used to pose nude,semi nudes and also fully clothed.
That phase taught me so much.
How can somebody be comfortable in their own skin,
How can someone be confident and care less.
How can a room full of people stare at a nude person without sexualizing her.
How we looked up to her for her patience.
How we respected her so much because how else could we learn human body well.
We shared food with her,chatted with her and she told us all her hilarious stories..
She told how she have daced the judgemental society. How her husband has always supported her all through.
She earns bread for her family,with pride.
She said she felt like a goddess in the college as everyone looked up to her like someone who is providin us education in a way.
I still feel bad how she got paid less by the authority,
Its a tough job. Sitting straight for hours in front of glowing hot bulb,in a room which is not airconditioned,in a posture which can be painful.
But thank god she existed.
Observing her taught me so much about our bodies.
