In this very short life and insignificant existence i have made sure to dedicate my life to capture and preserve all the little things that mattered to me. All the little things that inspires me makes me feel something.
It does not have to be a positive feeling all the time, it could be something sad ,happy or angry, whatever comes my way.
But i feel , i am doing my bit as human by putting forward what comes to my observation.
During the festivities, i have always seen how women together finds their own piece of joy by laughing and doing their bits of work together.
I read it somewhere , how all the festivals have been highly dependent on female labour, how they have worked hard so that the people around can cherish their holidays. A piece of information or realisation that impacted me, in strange ways and i learnt what a massive role they play in every little celebration we take for granted.
A scene that stayed with me of a moment during shondhi pujo, the trembling lamps being lit by a group of people and them sitting around the idol while the their sweat shines, along with the idol’s painted exterior.
