Whenever there is any event, festival, wedding, or anything that brings the bengalis together.. they will somehow find a bed nearby.
Trust me on this I’ve seen this everywhere or whichever gatherings i went to.
After the bed hunting, they will all gather there.. squeeze themselves in the bed and sit together to GOSSIP!!
They will open their box of informations that they have collected throughout the year.
Even politics and cinema is a part of that.
In bengali term “adda”
There will be different kinds of people in this group.. one who brings in all the gossips, one who just love listening!! Some will come just to crack jokes and troll others, some will start singing and remembering their beloved Robi thakur.
But the variety i see there is so interesting that it had to be captured.
With people who can’t sit straight, will lean down and people who will just hop in and try to get a little space on the bed.. but fail.. so they continue standing and join the loud roars of laughter.
It’s not a all women adda.. it’s all like minded ones!!
