We have known this name from the pages of mythology,and have always celebrated this name, till now.

Just like our tradition of wearing sarees this name has evolved and aged beautifully.

Why did i compare the name to saree??
I don’t know why but saree is something that we have owned styled and modified with time.
It never went out of fashion,
It never faded and hated by people.
Men women and others embraced it and styled and manipulated saree according to their own expression.
I see a certain feel of flexibility in this particular piece of cloth which has contributed in fashion and aesthetics in a most unique way.
Now don’t ask me why radhika?
I feel the same about the name.
It’s meaning,
It’s power is always embraced and celebrated in similar ways.
We don’t always need to put reason behind every thought..
It’s just another thought among the million that popped up when i did this painting.
